Abbotsford Blue Bus
Since the middle of May 2007, our mobile Food Bank and Soup Kitchen has been operating on alternate Sunday afternoons in a parking lot off of Montvue and McDougall in the old town Abbotsford. We serve hot soup, sandwiches, coffee, juice, and dessert to approximately 180 to 200 people. While getting a hot meal, people can receive a bag of groceries as well as clothing and bedding items. By providing the immediate physical needs, this outreach builds relationships and ministers to those on the street on a friendship evangelism level. This outreach goes a long way to helping people change their lives and become a contributing part of society. Come out on a Sunday afternoon and help us serve the growing number of needy people on the streets of Abbotsford.
Time & Place:
- Sunday Preperation - meet at 1:00 pm for food preparation at the County Line Christian Fellowship 26460 52nd Ave, Aldergrove B.C.
- Sunday Distribution - meet at 3:30 pm at Montvue and McDougall to serve food and minister in the parking lot.
- Sunday Clean up - meet at County Line Christian Fellowship at approximately 5:30 - 6:00
- Wednesdays - to sort clothes, supplies and groceries donations at the County Line Christian Fellowship. Your help is greatly needed.
